Ronald Araujo has promised he will not run away from Barca or shy away from responsibility after one mistake in a tense Champions League game.
"I will fight for [the club] to come back to be the usual Barca until the end," Araujo said at a conference.
The defender went on to discuss his future and unlike Xavi, Araujo confirmed he's going nowhere come next season.
"There is always talk about the future, every year it will be like this, but I am very happy in Barcelona, my family is happy. I will show it on the field by giving everything," Araujo said.
The spotlight has been shining relentlessly on Araujo following his error leading to the red card he received against PSG. His departure from the game saw his team capitulate and concede four goals with Barca bowing out from the Champions League at the quarter-final stage.
But Araujo will be needed again with Barca up for a crunch El Clasico on Sunday. Another defeat would mean that the Blaugrana finish the season trophyless.
