Xavi: 'We've been superior in 4 games against Real Madrid and Girona. But the results don't show it'

"This is not easy to digest, but we have to recover the team. We have to improve many things: compete better, especially when we have the game in our hands," Xavi told the media after losing the Girona game 4-2.

"We've been superior in the four games against the two rivals [Girona and Real Madrid] that are above us [in the La Liga table]. But it is not reflected in the result. Therefore, we have to improve a lot," he also said.

Barca's biggest problem is that they can't keep the advantage until the very last minute, often conceding goals late in the second half – and the Girona games were not an exception.

While this may have to do with fitness issues, Xavi is true when he insists a mental problem exists too.
