Barcelona back in 2nd place: La Liga standings

Barcelona have re-claimed their second place in La Liga following the 2-0 win against Real Sociedad.

The Catalans are now one point ahead of Girona with three games to go.

The remaining fixtures for Blaugrana are Almeria away (May 16), Rayo Vallecano at home (May 19) and Sevilla away (May 25).

Girona take on Villarreal at home (May 14), Valencia away (May 19) and Granada at home (May 25).

It's important for Barcelona to finish second in La Liga as it would allow them to participate in the Spanish Supercopa and gain some extra income.
