In the aftermath of Barca's 2-0 win against Sociedad, Xavi was asked his opinion on the comments made by Vitor Roque's agent last week.
"I'm not replying to player agents. I can't do that," Xavi fired back.
"Vitor's future will be discussed internally to make a final decision. He doesn't play more due to the question of competition for a team like Barca.
"Here you compete with very big players," Xavi insisted.
Xavi has a point about Barca being a competitive team but ignoring the player for five consecutive matches is beyond questionable, particularly when you consider how Barca splashed €61m to get the player from Brazil.
Roque would be crying out for second-half cameos to sharpen his skills and improve at Barca not sit on the bench and hope on thin air.
All that is why the Brazilian is set to go on loan this summer. However, Roque's agent insists his player will push for a permanent exit from Barca in the summer, not a loan.
