Barcelona qualify for Super Cup – 3 teams they will face

Barcelona have qualified for the Spanish Super Cup slated for January 2025.

Barca secured their slot by beating Rayo Vallecano at home 3-0. Girona won but Barca's lead in second place is unassailable.

In the Super Cup, the Blaugrana will face La Liga Champions Real Madrid, Copa Del Rey Champions Athletic Bilbao and Copa Del Rey runners-up Mallorca.

Barca last won the Spanish Super Cup in 2023 with Xavi leading the team. But they lost the final this year to the same opponent they beat last year — Real Madrid.

The Blaugrana will bank around €6m in revenue for qualifying to fight for the prestigious trophy.
