Xavi: 'Barca are in a very bad situation'

"We're in a very sad situation and I hope we can fix it," Xavi said after the Rayo game.

"We have to be united. It's the same thing I said three weeks ago. We need to trust ourselves and be ambitious.

"I haven't changed that. I'm excited to start next season and do everything better.

"People can say what they want, but I can see that we have improved our game. We analyze it, we're better in positional play and we're creating more chances.

"I think I'll see the president now," Xavi added.

Xavi apparently stands by the comments he made earlier which reportedly got President Joan Laporta outraged and betrayed.

However, Xavi has been winning with his team lately and it would almost prove foolhardy to sack him now.
