Barcelona agree new deal for player with just 9 appearances this season

Barcelona have reached an agreement with 17-year-old Hector Fort over a new deal, Relevo reports.

While the defender's current deal at Camp Nou runs until next summer, the new agreement will see him stay for another four years, until June 2029. His current release clause of €6m is expected to be raised due to growing interest in the player from abroad.

The official announcement will be made in the coming days.

Fort made his official debut just six months ago, in December 2023. Since then, Hector has racked up nine appearances in the Blaugrana shirt and even assisted his teammates three times.
