Barca 'pushing' for Hansi Flick appointment, he's already rejected major Premier League side

Barcelona have started intensifying contacts with Hansi Flick to take over next season, claims Fabrizio Romano.

The Blaugrana are now pushing to meet an agreement with the ex-Bayern Munich gaffer. Flick has been waiting for the Barca job for the last few months.

The German coach considers the Barca managerial role his favorite one. Hence, he refused to enter talks to become Chelsea manager.

Flick is also Joan Laporta’s favorite option to replace Xavi. The president was impressed with his earlier work at Bayern.

The Blaugrana are actually yet to relieve Xavi of his duties. But that is likely to be sealed soon after he undermined Barca’s ability to compete for major trophies next season.
