Newcastle United has been taken over by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF).
They’re now owned by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman – who is among the richest people in the world.
The owner of Newcastle has a net worth of £260bn – making them the richest owners among all Premier League clubs.
Man City’s owner Sheikh Mansour comes closest to that with a net value of £23bn, which is still 10 times lesser than the Saudi Arabian prince.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has a net worth of £10bn, while Arsenal (£7bn) and Wolves (£5bn) complete the top-5 richest PL owners list.
