Italia is leading the way when it comes to vaccinating top-flight footballers as the game looks to get back to normal.
According to Repubblica, a whopping '98 per cent' of Serie A players have got the jab. For comparison, the Premier League's rate is just '50 per cent'.
Earlier this season, AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho openly pleaded with unvaccinated Granit Xhaka to 'get the jab' after the Arsenal midfielder was diagnosed with Covid-19.
