During a recent interview with French TV channel TF1, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was asked if he believed the current PSG side was better than the one he played in.
The Swede's answer was quite scathing: “No, because we were a team. Today, this is not a team. Maybe later on. I believe in this team, but they are not the best."
PSG arguably had one of the most impressive transfer campaigns ever, snapping Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Gini Wijnaldum up on a free.
The newcomers have mostly struggled to have an impact in France, however. Even though PSG already have an eight-point lead in Ligue 1, there are a lot of questions for Mauricio Pochettino to answer about the quality of their performances.
