According to Sky Deutschland, Borussia Dortmund prepare a massive package to convince Erling Haaland to stay at the club beyond this season.
The German club are ready to double the forward's salary. Haaland is rumoured to be earning €8-9 million per year which would make his new salary around €16-18 million.
In return, Dortmund want the release clause to kick in a year later. As it stands, Haaland might leave Dortmund next summer for €75 million - peanuts for a player of such quality,
Top clubs around Europe are interested in his signing, and it remains to be seen whether any of the suitors are prepared to offer Haaland a deal on similar terms.
There's no doubt in one thing: Mino Raiola will squeeze everything he can out of every club interested in his client to get the best deal for Haaland and himself.
