Dortmund CEO doesn't expect Erling Haaland's future to be decided 'until March or April'

Speaking to Amazon Prime, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said: "I think we will speak with Erling Haaland in the next few weeks.

"We are not alone in control of this. We are a bit dependent on signals coming from him and his advisor.

"We have no pressure to negotiate because we don’t necessarily have to extend the contract.

"The question is: does he trigger the clause or does he not? But we will try not to find out until March or April."

Haaland's controversial agent Mino Raiola is working hard behind the scenes on arranging his client's exit from Dortmund in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old Norway international, who has scored 17 goals in 14 games in all competitions so far this season, will have a release clause of €75 million next summer.
