Haaland after last night's game: 'Dortmund pressuring me. I never spoke until now to respect them. Things will happen now'

Erling Haaland finally opened up on his future after Borussia Dortmund’s 5-1 win over Freiburg on Friday, as he told Viaplay: “[For] The last six months I have chosen not to say anything out of respect for Borussia Dortmund.

“But now the club has started pressing me into making a decision. All I want to do is to play football, but they [Dortmund] press me to make a decision now about my future [...] So that means I have to make a decision soon.”

This comes after reports emerged that Dortmund want Haaland to settle his future by February. The Norwegian either has to agree to stay at the club for another season or verbally confirm his plans to leave in the summer.

Haaland has many suitors around Europe, with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City and Man United all interested in signing him this summer.
