Chelsea scouts told club to avoid signing Erling Haaland for 1 major reason

The race to sign Erling Haaland came down to Manchester City and Real Madrid with Chelsea deciding to pull out.

According to ESPN FC, Chelsea scouts raised a major concern about the striker's suitability to playing in the Premier League.

Apparently, they were not convinced that the 21-year-old would thrive in England because 'there's less space for forward players to attack and run into'.

Haaland has scored 29 goals in 30 games for Borussia Dortmund this season and Pep Guardiola is clearly not bothered by the perceived flaws in the Norwegian's game.
