Clement Lenglet close to securing loan move to Tottenham Hotspur

Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet has decided to join Tottenham Hotspur on loan for next season, claims Gerard Romero.

The Frenchman will join Antonio Conte’s side imminently after Spurs agreed to only approve loan move for him.

Tottenham will not pay Lenglet’s entire salary of €12m-a-year, instead paying around only €7m for the next season.

That means Barca will have to pay the rest of the €5m for their on-loan defender.

Spurs have already signed Richarlison, Ivan Perisic and Fraster Forster in the summer transfer window.
