Bayern Munich wants to sign Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt, who is also eager to join them, claims Sky Sports Germany.
The Dutchman has been identified as a potential leader of the Bundesliga giants’ backline under Julian Nagelsmann and has been impressed by their future project.
Bayern have also started negotiations with Juventus, who know that De Ligt wants to leave and won’t stand in his way if a fair offer comes in.
The talks are a good stage right now and the Bavarians have been told they might have to pay around €60m-€80m to sign him.
Chelsea are also in the race to sign him, but currently, Bayern look favourites to secure his signing as long as able to pay a major transfer fee for him.
