Juventus are in hot water as investigations into their finances are now spilling onto the players.
As many as 23 players who were part of the team at the time could face bans and that includes Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 37-year-old currently plays for Al-Nassr after an unceremonious exit from Manchester United following a bombshell Piers Morgan interview.
If Ronaldo and the other Juve players falsely accepted lower wages then they could be banned for a whopping 30 days even if they are no longer at the club.
Italian journalist Pablo Zalliani explained: "All members involved were questioned and admitted the circumstances.
"Two players, Matthijs de Ligt and Mattia De Sciglio, provided the magistrates with a copy of the Whatsapp chat in which Giorgio Chiellini explained the scam to everyone, suggesting not to mention it to journalists."
Chances are Ronaldo would have been part of that group, thus being affected by the verdict.
