FIFA has released the official logo for the 2026 World Cup that's set to take place in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Here it goes:
That's just it: two numbers with a PNG image of the cup over it.
It's hard to justify it even as a minimalistic design - the way it looks tasteless and empty to many fans.
One wrote on Reddit: "This feels like a placeholder logo that somehow ended up being released because they ran out of time."
Another added: "There’s absolutely nothing that says where this World Cup is being played, like wtf. All this tells me is there’s a World Cup in 2026 which we already knew lol."
One more opinion reads: "They probably paid some marketing firm $250k to design this generic, bland piece of shit."
