World Cup revelation Goncalo Ramos 'offered' to bottom table Premier League club

The super agent Jorge Mendes has offered Goncalo Ramos to West Ham, The Sun reports.

The Portuguese had a memorable World Cup campaign as he stole the spotlight from Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring a playoff hat-trick against Switzerland in Qatar.

The 21-year-old attracted interest from numerous European clubs in winter, but the price tag of almost 100 million euros scared the suitors off, so he stayed at Benfica.

Ramos went on to bag 30 goals for club and country, convincing the top sides like PSG and Manchester United to get in the race for the player.

It would be curious if he ends up at the London club that finished the season just six points above the Premier League relegation zone.
