A confident Newcastle United fan has taken a bold step by purchasing a club shirt with Sandro Tonali's name, expecting him to wear the number 20 jersey.
Recent reports have linked the North East club with a potential £60 million deal to sign the AC Milan midfielder, sparking excitement among fans. This particular supporter even shared a video on YouTube, expressing his belief that Tonali will get the number 20 shirt for Newcastle.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time the fan has made such predictions. Previously, when the club was linked with Everton winger Anthony Gordon, the fan anticipated him wearing the number 20 jersey as well. However, due to Jonjo Shelvey's departure, Gordon ended up with the number eight shirt instead.
As for Tonali this deal come as a surprise due to the player’s love for Milan. He said last year: "I’d never make the mistake of leaving. I know what I went through to get here. I dream of becoming a ‘bandiera’, the flag-bearer, as Maldini, Franco Baresi were."
