Manchester City are keen to sign Jeremy Doku from Stade Rennes this summer, but they aren't the only Premier League club with that plan. As reported by FootMercato, the French team have rejected an opening bid from West Ham.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City want to sign Doku this week as they discuss the bid wanted by Stade Rennes.
Romano tweeted: "Man City, advancing on Jeremy Doku deal as new verbal proposal close to €55/60m package is being discussed with Rennes There’s competition but City hope to reach an agreement with Rennes this week — after green light on player side since beginning of August."
Belgian winger scored seven goals and provided four assists in 35 games last season for his team.
