Aston Villa player Leon Bailey is under investigation by West Midlands police after a supporter claimed he was assaulted by the winger.
The incident supposedly happened at Villa Park's corporate boxes right after Sunday's win against Everton. A fan wanted Bailey to take a picture with his young son, who was celebrating his fifth birthday at the match.
But things took a turn when Bailey declined the request. Now, the Villa fan is accusing him of pushing him to the ground. Apparently, there's CCTV footage of the alleged incident, and quite a few people witnessed it too.
West Midlands police are looking into it, but they didn't share any comments on Sunday night. The fan gave a statement on the spot. Villa Park's security team called the police after the incident. The supporter and Bailey had an argument because Bailey supposedly didn't want to take a selfie with the fan's son.
