4 confirmed, 2 more expected: West Ham's impressive transfers this summer summed up

Just a few weeks ago, West Ham looked like total shambles when they placed an advert for new signings. Since then, they have added four top-quality additions to the squad, taking their spending to over £100m.

Let's look at their transfer market so far and players who could still arrive to London Stadium this week.

Confirmed signings

James Ward-Prowse. The set-piece dictator has already started his thing as he's scored one and assisted two in his first few games for David Moyes. He cost the club around £30m.

Dinos Mavropanos. The former Arsenal centre-back has joined from Stuttgart for around £18m.

Edson Alvarez. The Mexico international cost the Hammers £35m, he will be tasked with replacing Declan Rice.

Mohammed Kudus. In what is potentially a coup of the summer, the Ghanian rejected the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal to join West Ham for around £38m from Ajax.

Potential signings

Harry Maguire. The Maguire rumours are back on track for the Hammers but it seems like Maguire wants every penny owed him from Man United before he walks.

Youssef En-Nesyri. The 26-year-old Moroccan scored 18 goals last season and, standing at 1.92 m, could be the perfect fit for the sturdy West Ham side.

Yuri Alberto. A much less desirable option is Yuri Alberto who wasn't even prolific in the Russian league playing for Zenit and only had 10 goals in 45 games last season for Corinthians.
