Bizarre Bundesliga rule denies Harry Kane's Bayern Munich hat-trick

Harry Kane has already pulled off a remarkable feat in his new Bayern Munich journey. He scored his first three goals in a single game against Vfl Bochum. Unfortunately for Kane, these three goals won't be considered a hat-trick in the Bundesliga.

Harry Kane, despite his incredible performance, hasn't technically scored a hat-trick for Bayern Munich. That's because in Germany, there's a unique rule: all three goals must be scored consecutively in the same half of the game.

Kane's goals were spread across both halves, and other Bayern players chipped in with goals in between. So, by the strict Bundesliga definition, he hasn't bagged his first hat-trick yet.

In Germany, there is the other word that describes three goals scored by one player, that are not a 'hattrick'. They call it a "Dreierpack" or a three-pack.
