'Aesthetically? Great. Effective? Not really': Luis Enrique comes under fire from football community

Paris Saint Germain have had a bad start to the season. Their latest result is a 4-1 thrashing at St James's Park and domestically they're only fifth, below the likes of Nice, Brest and Reims.

Luis Enrique has yet to get his new team firing: just like his other teams, PSG know how to keep possession at over 70% but players don't know what to do afterwards.

Some football fans are beginning to suspect the Spaniard may not be as good as touted.

@EiFSoccer: "Luis Enrique continues to prove what type of manager he is.

"Aesthetically? Looks great pretty often. Is it effective? Not really. Is it potent against intense, physical teams? Not really.

"Remember that Luis Enrique wasn’t far away from getting sacked during a tumultuous season at Barcelona - MSN went on a historic run to win everything that year.

"Luis Enrique needs to improve as a manager - his football is too one-dimensional."

@RkFutbol: "Luis Enrique is a massive fraud who was given a career by MSN. Failed at Roma. Failed at Spain. Failing terrible at PSG the most expensive football squad ever."

@Desmondtutufcb: "Luis Enrique gradually showing everyone the reason he succeeded in Barcelona was because he had Messi, Neymar and Suarez."

Luis Enrique's CV includes spells at AS Roma, Celta, Barcelona and most recently Spain's national team. It could be argued that the only team he's succeeded with is Barcelona as he guided the MSN team to a Champions League triumph.
