Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has openly declared that Micah Richards is his favourite member of the CBS panel.
CBS' Champions League coverage has gained popularity for the lively interactions between host Kate Abdo and pundits Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and the energetic Micah Richards.
After PSG's 3-0 Champions League victory over AC Milan, Enrique delighted Richards by naming him as his preferred CBS team member
Abdo said to the PSG boss: "We were talking in the commercial break before we came back, and you made Micah Richards’ night. You said that he is - I don’t want to take the words from you - but you said he is your favourite."
Micah quickly added: "Luis, Luis, I love you."
Enrique then explained: "Yeah of course. To be honest I am a very big fan of Micah Richards and the way you prank with him. I’m laughing a lot."
Richards responded: "Luis. I love you so much. Thank you so much. It’s an absolute pleasure."
Enrique playfully mentioned, referring to Richards' CBS colleagues Henry and Carragher, who have won the Champions League: "Even if you’ve never won the Champions League, it doesn’t matter."
Richards then asked: "Luis, I just wanted to ask you, are you familiar with the show?"
Enrique responded: "I’ve seen you. I’ve followed you a lot. As I told you before, you are my favourite without any doubt. You smile every day. You are an example."
