Betsson Group has announced the launch of the flagship brand, Betsson, in Italy.
Betsson has been operating in Italy for over a decade with its StarCasinò brand. According to the company's statement, StarCasinò will continue to operate alongside Betsson.
It's worth noting that StarCasino supports a few football clubs in Italy, including Napoli, Torino, Sassuolo, Roma and others.
"Italy has grown significantly in importance for Betsson, and we believe this is an opportune moment to introduce our flagship brand, Betsson, to the market," said Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group.
"By consolidating our operations under the unified Betsson brand, we aim to harness the power of scalability. And together with our extensive experience in the region, we aim to position the brand as a leading sports betting operator in the market."
