Loris Karius has seamlessly settled into life at Newcastle, slotting in as the third-choice goalkeeper behind Nick Pope and Martin Dubravka.
Off the pitch, Karius is engaged to Italian TV presenter Diletta Leotta, and they recently welcomed their daughter Aria into the world.
In a recent interview with Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Leotta shared her challenges of managing a family while Karius is based far away.

"I live in Milan, so let's say being close to Milan would be ideal for us. I always tell him, players who come to Serie A then fall in love with Italy and often stay there forever. I think that could happen to him too. [He should join] Monza or any other team in Italy. I would be happy if he came to Italy to play near his family."

Despite his position in the pecking order, Karius has stepped up when needed, making four appearances for the Toon, including a notable outing in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester United.
