Exciting news for Super Eagles fans as the Nigeria 2024 home and away kits have been revealed, and it's bound to be a hit among supporters.
Despite only participating in World Cup qualifiers currently, Nike has gone ahead and revamped both the Nigeria home and away kits, making it one of the most eagerly awaited releases in international football.
One notable change is the absence of the traditional Nigerian crest on the shirt, as Nike has opted for a bold and innovative design. Featuring the iconic red Nike swoosh and the word 'Naija' instead of 'Nigeria', the new kit exudes a modern and stylish vibe.
The use of 'Naija', a popular colloquialism representing Nigeria and its culture, adds a unique touch to the kit. Additionally, eagle-eyed fans will spot the subtle inclusion of the Super Eagle emblem faded onto the chest, adding to the overall charm of the design.
"The Nigerian 2024 home kits captures the purity of the ‘Naija’ spirit throughout a primary white base, the first time in three years the Super Eagles have used it as a main colour," Nike says.
"A large Super Eagle and NAIJA are linked together across the chest. The kits includes a unique boxed neckline and striking green and black seams, while a distinct red Swoosh matches the Liteflex crest on the shorts."
Nigeria's football team will be sporting a predominantly black away shirt in the 2024 season, thanks to Nike's latest design. The shirt features a striking green graphic design that draws inspiration from the renowned Nigerian rainforest.
