Bayer Leverkusen don't often win titles. But now that they have won the Bundesliga, ending Bayern Munich's 11-year hegemony, the fans invaded the pitch.
Bayer had to beat Werder Bremen to win the Bundesliga and they understood their task well: a 5-0 victory with a hat-trick from Florian Wirtz.
This is Bayer's first-ever league title in the club's 120-year history. Their other trophies since 1904 are the UEFA Cup in 1988 and the German Cup in 1993. That's it.
Bayer are also still unbeaten since May 2023, a streak that lasts 43 games, a repeat of Juventus 2011/12. Should they win their next game, West Ham in the Europa League, they'll set the all-time record for victories in a single campaign.
