Former England striker Alan Shearer is confident that Ollie Watkins will definitely make it into Gareth Southgate's England squad for Euro 2024.
Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Shearer said: 'Absolutely he goes, there's no doubt about it."
"19 league goals. The way he finished that off, the way he was running in behind, the way he was causing all sorts of problems. Absolutely he's going."
Watkins showed his excellent form by scoring a fantastic goal in Sunday's surprising 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Watkins is close behind Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot. His goal against Arsena was his 19th in the top league this season. He played in both of England's recent friendly matches, and it seems like only an injury could stop him from being selected for the team going to Germany this summer.
