Erling Haaland won't have a lack of suitors next summer, possibly even in January. According to ex-Norway international Erik Thorstvedt, RB Salzburg would gladly sell the striker, the sole question is whom to.
Throstvedt spoke to Norwegian broadcaster TV2: "There may be someone who will take a chance in January to move in [for Haaland] first. And then let him play at Salzburg for the rest of the season. Salzburg are a selling club and they will sell when they get the most money.
"If it is next summer that they will get the most money for him, they will sell then."
The 19-year-old is the leading goalscorer in the Champions League this season with six goals in three appearances.
United are one of many clubs scouting the Norway international who, by the end of October, already has 20 goals in all competitions. Jurgen Klopp has been impressed by him as Man City might provide some competitions, either. Real Madrid are reportedly also there.
