It's been a week since Julen Lopetegui has been sacked from the post of Real Madrid coach.
Surprisingly, Dani Carvajal doesn't necessarily think that it was a good decision by the club, although probably an understandable one:
"For me, Lopetegui is the best coach I ever had," the full-back confessed in the interview with COPE.
"I share his way of understanding football. He did not have that bit more luck with us."
Dani Carvajal has suffered a muscular problem in the Champions League game against CSKA Moscow (1-0)a month ago and has just recently returned to light training with the ball.
Carvajal is tied down at Bernabeu until 2022, as part of Perez's policy to sign regular first-team players on a long-term contract.
The Madrid youth product has spent all his career, save for the 2012-13 season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen with Los Blancos, winning 14 trophies with the Whites.
