Marcelo, Carvajal and Mariano still unable to complete the training

Real Madrid players continue with their preparations for the Eibar match on 24 November. However, the injured stars are still far from making their long-awaited returns as Marcelo, Dani Carvajal and Mariano Diaz are still spared from joining the usual session together with the group. The trio continue with their recovery process, however, they have increased their tempo of the training.

With a significant number of the first-team players gone on their international duties, Santiago Solari could only welcome a lesser squad at his first-ever training as the Real Madrid official head coach. Only Karim Benzema, Kiko Casilla, Alvaro Odriozola, Marcos Llorente, Lucas Vázquez have been involved in Wednesday's session while the ex-Castilla boss also included youngsters Javi Sanchez and Luca Zidane.

Another injured player, Jesus Vallejo, keeps following his individual recovery plan. He hasn't featured yet since the start of the 2018/2019 season as he is battling constant muscle issues. That's why the promising defender is unlikely to make his return against Eibar next week. Mariano, Marcelo and Carvajal, meanwhile, could be already fit.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid are now in a deep injury crisis as the club have recently officially confirmed Casemiro and Nacho's diagnosis. The Spaniard sustained a damage to his knee ligament which would reportedly rule him out for eight weeks. The Brazilian, meanwhile, sprained his ankle so he is expected to recover in three weeks.
