Real Madrid's official website reads: "After the tests carried out on our player Dani Carvajal by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury to the soleus of his left leg. The player’s situation will continue to be monitored."
Dani Carvajal has suffered a muscular problem in the Champions League game against CSKA Moscow (1-0) on Tuesday and has not been called up to Spain squad for the games against Wales and Bosnia.
With it more than likely that both Marcelo and Carvajal will miss the game against Alaves in Vitoria on Saturday, their substitutes - Reguilon and Odriozola - are likely to get the nod again.
As Marca's Santiago Siguero points out: "Real Madrid have lost their wings in the last two weeks and have seen a scoring drought because of the absences of two players that make a difference in the rival's area."
