What is wrong between Isco and Solari?

Isco is yet to make a start for Real Madrid in all seven games after Santiago Solari has taken charge of Los Blancos. At first, it seemed normal as the midfielder suffered from acute appendicitis in September, however, now it slowly becomes a real issue.

The most telling moment arrived this week when Isco was sensationally dropped from Madrid bench against Roma even though he was originally named in the travelling squad. There were rumours that the midfielder had a brawl with the 42-year-old tactician and this decision was a disciplinary punishment. Nothing has been confirmed, though.

It looks like Isco is slowly becoming a reserve player at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Lucas Vazquez is a preferable option for his position as he excels in terms of speed, hard work and ability to unbalance the opponents' defenders on the flank. He occupied Isco's position against both Roma and Valencia and scored a goal in each of the matches.

In total, Isco has only capped 88 minutes of the playing time in seven matches since Santiago Solari's arrival. He only played for ten minutes in the most recent game against Valencia. The midfielder looked annoyed and didn't salute the fans. Perhaps, Juventus or Manchester City could intervene and snatch the promising star already this winter.
