We all know Cristiano Ronaldo's hunger for goals has no limits. But not like this!
According to his former teammate Rafael van der Vaart, the Portuguese was frustrated to leave the pitch without a goal after the Sporting Gijon clash, although Cristiano wasn't even a Real Madrid player then.
"I played with Cristiano Ronaldo. We won 6-0 at home against Gijon, I scored a hat-trick, but he didn't score and in the dressing he was so upset!
"Normally, if that was me and you, we would be drinking beers!" the Dutchman told Peter Crouch for the Daily Mail.
That game took place in September 2008 and Cristiano had nothing to do with it since he was doing his favourite thing at Manchester United. Oops.
At least Rafael is right about his hat-trick – it's no wonder given that it was his only three-pack night at Real Madrid.
As a reminder, Cristiano joined Real Madrid only in 2009. Van der Vaart played 21 games alongside Ronaldo and bagged just one goal during that time.
