Cristiano Ronaldo is supposedly 'unhappy at Juventus', if reports in Spain are to be believed.
According to Don Balon, who have been notorious for publishing some of the most ridiculous - if not completely over-the-top - transfer rumours, Ronaldo wants to leave Turn especially after Juventus lost the 2019/20 Italian Cup final to Napoli on penalties after a goalless draw on Wednesday.
The report adds that the Portuguese has been struggling to get on terms with Juve coach Maurizio Sarri and that he would be willing to make a sensational return to Real Madrid.
However, there are two obstacles which must be overcome in order for CR7 to make his comeback:
- Madrid must cash in by selling Gareth Bale
- Cristiano has to take a pay-cut
It was the first time in Ronaldo's club career when he suffered consecutive final losses as the Serie A champions were beaten 3-1 by Lazio in the 2019 Italian Super Cup final in December.
Cristiano turned himself into Madrid's legend during his nine-year spell at the Bernabeu, scoring 450 goals in 438 appearances for the Whites. However, knowing Don Balon's low level of trustworthiness, we have to take this report with a grain of salt and never give up on hopes.
