Carlo Ancelotti: I like James Rodriguez a lot but I think he'll be a Real Madrid player

In an interview with The Guardian, Everton manager Caro Ancelotti admitted: "I like him a lot as a player.

"When I left Real Madrid, James followed me to Munich.

"But he followed me as a rumour to Napoli and now he is following me to Everton as a rumour.

"I have to be honest, I like him a lot.

"But he is a Real Madrid player and I think he will still be a Real Madrid player."

There have also been rumours about a possible Manchester United deal and whatnot but it looks like James Rodriguez is not moving to the Merseyside anytime soon.

Interestingly, Rodriguez has played and excelled under Ancelotti at Madrid and Bayern Munich.
