"He's impressive as a person and a coach. He's very close and he makes me feel important. He transmits the Real Madrid values to us," Real Madrid's goalscorer in the UEFA Youth League final Pablo Rodriguez has told MARCA about Raul.
"I have very few memories of him as a player, although I've seen lots of videos. I know what he means for the history of this club. They say that we're similar in some things and that's flattering for me.
"I try to model myself on him a lot, and [Karim] Benzema too," the 19-year-old concluded.
It's amazing to see young players modelling their game on active Real Madrid players who haven't even left the club yet.
On Tuesday, Raul and Real Madrid U19 secured the UEFA Youth League trophy after winning 3-2 over Benfica's youth side.
Pablo Rodriguez netted one of Madrid's goals. Overall, the youngster bagged 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 20 appearances for Real Madrid U19 last season, earning promotion to Real Madrid B.
