'We did the best we could and now we are in Milan': Theo Hernandez on himself and Achraf Hakimi

Theo Hernandez and Achraf Hakimi were Real Madrid players not to long ago - but the former pointed out neither regret their decision to leave for Milan and Inter respectively.

"Both Achraf and I played little in Real Madrid and the best thing for us was to leave, because if you are there and you don't play you are not happy and you don't have the opportunities you wanted. We did the best we could and now we are here in Milan," Hernandez said ahead of the Milan derby.

Hernandez made just 13 league appearances for Los Blancos during his short stint at the club, while Hakimi made just 9. They are now regulars in Italy, which both look happy about, but we are honestly not sure either are missed much in Madrid.
