There's a generally accepted notion about Cristiano Ronaldo as a selfish goalscorer, so much he likes to be in the spotlight.
However, the Portuguese once showed a generous side of his character, which broke the widely accepted opinion of him.
When he was still a Real Madrid player in 2018, Ronaldo spurned that chance to bag his 50th career hat-trick to let Karim Benzema score.
Midway through the second half, the game was done as the hosts had a 3-goal advantage over Getafe with Ronaldo scoring a brace.
At the end of the game, Bale won a penalty and everyone expected Cristiano to convert the spot-kick. However, CR7 grabbed the ball to pass it on to Benz, who struggled in front of the goal throughout the game.
The latter converted the pen with ease and gave a warm hug to his mate.
Here's the recap of that game.
Some fans couldn't believe their eyes that Cristiano did what he did.
