Sevilla sporting director responds to Sergio Ramos links

“He’s a Real Madrid player. I think he’s in talks with Real Madrid now to extend his contract, that’s all I can say,” Ramon Monchi told Sky Sports or the reported Sergio Ramos interest.

Monchi seemingly means that they won't make any decision on Ramos until he ends his talks with Los Blancos.

The centre-back started his senior career at Sevilla in 2004 before joining Real Madrid the following year.

The 35-year-old has made 671 appearances for the club winning multiple major trophies. The captain made a contribution of 101 goals and bagging 49 assists.

The veteran's contract expires in two weeks.
