'I have no option, I’m a Real Madrid player!': Bale hints at Madrid stay

"Yeah, I have no option, he will be the manager of Real Madrid next season and I'm a Real Madrid player," Gareth Bale said at a press conference when asked whether he would like to work with Carlo Ancelotti.

"So all I can say is that I get on really well with him, he's a great coach and I am sure he's gonna do great for Real Madrid."

Bale has a year left on his Real Madrid contract. He spent the 2020–21 season on loan at Tottenham, scoring 16 goals in 34 games across all competitions.

The Welshman has repeatedly refused to discuss his future, insisting he is focused on Euro 2020.

At his unveiling as a Whites manager, Carlo Ancelotti appeared to be keen on retaining Gareth for the next campaign.
