And a Madrid fan BandKidFloz thinks Sporting Lisbon forward Pedro Gonçalves is the man Carlo Ancelotti's side needs.
"When I was looking at the Liga NOS scoring charts I was surprised to see a 22-year-old I’d never heard of atop the list with 23 league goals," BandKidFloz wrote on Reddit.
"After doing more research, here is what I found.
- 5’8’’ (173cm), very agile dribbler.
- Makes amazing runs, almost like a natural striker.
- No-nonsense finishing ability. Isn’t the best, but finishes the easier chances.
- Both-footed, watching his highlights I don’t know what his strong foot is.
- Also likes to cut inside and shoot.
- Didn’t see much of him running to the byline and crossing.
"His Transfermarkt value is 23 million euros, but obviously would cost closer to 40 million.
"This is the kind of youngster that should be sought after, not any Neymar replica we see.
"These numbers were put up in the Liga Nos which is an inferior league, but then again it means nothing when you look at Di Maria, Casemiro and Pepe.
"If Mbappe doesn’t land in Madrid this summer, the Right Wing spot still needs fixing, and Pedro Gonçalves is great in my opinion."
