'No way we want to sell our own Messi!': Global Madridistas react to Kubo's outstanding Olympic performance

3 goals in 3 games, two against France and MexicoTakefusa Kubo has arguably been the Olympic Games' best performer so far.

Given his decent La Liga campaign, some Madridistas badly want Carlo Ancelotti to finally give some game time to the 20-year-old.

Mawu Sekwe: "I wonder if I hear this that Madrid wants €15 million euros to let our Messi go. Eh! Are we normal in mind??? This guy is better than Asensio. He has a vision of creating chances for strikers and is also good at scoring. We will do this useless thing and three years later we will think of signing him or get him for free."

Bubacarr Jabbie: "This is just enough to keep the lad at Real Madrid had it not been the issue of Real registering many non-EU players. By the way, a loan move must be imminent."

Cashkillzz: "I swear down. He's better than Asensio. He can create chances he can beat any defender. He can score. Asensio only knows how to do just one thing and that's shooting. And he only shoots once in a while. Asensio is too overhyped."

RMadridHome: "Takefusa Kubo. 20 years old. Hero for his country. I hope Ancelotti finds room for this kid in his squad this season. He has to. He’s too talented and with our core players just getting older, he can bring much needed energy - especially in a long season. Excited to see him play."

@MaryRMCF: "What else Kubo needs to do to stay at Madrid?"

Muddassir Hussain: "Going to laugh at everyone who laughed at me when I called Kubo a generational talent. If he’s given the right support and development, he'll make it, but Real Madrid have typically failed him so far."

Elvis: "From how Takefusa Kubo is playing and scoring goals for the Japan Olympic team, Real Madrid must keep him! He will be a great back up on their wings!"

Mr_XemiReR: "Too bad we don't have non-EU spots left, but next year he should get a chance."

ankitm1: "We still have Bale as a non-EU player. Makes me believe more and more that he will not stay. Kubo can be registered for Castilla as a non-EU player as we did with Rodrygo in 2019-20. Though he is too good to not get regular playtime in La Liga, and certainly worth a try."

In your opinion, what should Real Madrid do with Kubo this summer?
