Following Real Madrid's announcement regarding his injury, Toni Kroos sent a message to the fans on his Twitter.
"After several months of problems on my pubic bone, I think it's time to give it a rest and work on it to be well prepared for a long season. Back as soon as possible, as always," the German has tweeted.
The club has confirmed that Kroos suffers from pubalgia, which is a chronic groin injury. As per EsRadio, the midfielder will be out for a minimum of six weeks.
If the report turns out to be true, the 31-year-old would miss the first four league games of the season.
