Ancelotti explains why he didn't play Jovic v Osasuna

Many fans were calling for Luka Jovic to be given some time against Osasuna, either as a starter or as a second-half substitute.

"We didn't need a physical presence," he said at the presser after the game.

"We needed more entries into the area."

It's easy to argue with this one: Osasuna let Madrid get into the box, it was the final ball and the finish that were missing.

Jovic could have been an interesting option up front, especially when Madrid started whipping in crosses in the final stages of the game.
