Reason why Ancelotti didn't substitute Kroos even with midfielder visibly tired in Celtic win

Toni Kroos played the entire 90 minutes in Real Madrid's 5-1 win against Celtic on Wednesday.

The German midfielder played as a box-to-box midfielder while doing the job of a destroyer in the absence of Aurenlien Tchouameni. He was visibly looking fagged out later in the second half, but Carlo Ancelotti refused to bring him off.

According to Diario AS, the gaffer left Kroos on the pitch because he won't play the game against Rayo Vallecano at the weekend due to his injury.

Thus, Eduardo Camavinga who sat out the Celtic game is expected to start at Rayo.
